Installation Guide

This guide will walk you through installing and activating the Sunsky OpenAPI Plugin on your Botble/Shopla platform.

Requirements

Before installing, ensure your system meets these requirements:

Botble CMS version 7.3.0 or higher
PHP 8.1 or higher
MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+
Active eCommerce plugin installed
Valid Envato purchase code

Step 1: Download the Plugin

Navigate to Downloads

Find Sunsky OpenAPI Plugin and click Download

Select Installable WordPress file only (the zip file)

Step 2: Upload the Plugin

Method A: Admin Panel Upload

Navigate to Plugins → Add New

Click Upload Plugin

Select the downloaded zip file

Click Install Now

Method B: FTP Upload

Extract the downloaded zip file

Connect to your server via FTP

Upload the sunsky folder to /platform/plugins/

Ensure folder permissions are set to 755

Step 3: Activate the Plugin

Go to Plugins in admin panel

Find Sunsky OpenAPI in the list

Click Activate

Step 4: Enter License Key

A valid license key is required to use the plugin features.

After activation, go to Sunsky → License

Enter your Envato Purchase Code

Click Activate License

Wait for verification confirmation

Step 5: Configure API Credentials

Go to Sunsky → Settings

Enter your Sunsky API credentials:

- App Key: Your Sunsky application key - App Secret: Your Sunsky secret key

Click Test Connection to verify

Click Save Settings

Visit Sunsky Open Platform

Create a new application

Copy your App Key and App Secret

Troubleshooting

Plugin not appearing after upload

Check file permissions (755 for folders, 644 for files)
Ensure the folder name is exactly sunsky
Clear cache: php artisan cache:clear

License activation fails

Verify your purchase code is correct (36 characters with dashes)
Check your server can reach the license server
Ensure your domain matches the activation

API connection fails

Double-check your API credentials
Ensure your Sunsky account is active
Check if your IP is whitelisted on Sunsky
